Alleyways, stories, ancient remains and renewal — a Jerusalem tour plunging into the depths of the multi-layered Jewish world of the Old City — there since time immemorial.
We’ll start at the Jaffa Gate, viewing the city wall and the seam between the Old City and the new. We will enter the city and ascend to a fabulous observation point to see the wide expanses of the Old City.
We will descend into the Cardo, the central market avenue and boulevard that has been a central corridor since Roman times, experiencing Jerusalem’s rich history.
Strolling through the Jewish Quarter’s alleyways, we will come upon the recently rebuilt and glorious Hurva Synagogue, look towards the Golden dome on the Temple Mount, and go down to the Western Wall. A variety of additional museums and sites can be incorporated into the tour.
