A deep, wonderful encounter with Jerusalem’s sources of holiness to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Exploring beliefs and traditions, customs and ceremonies, facts and stories unique to the endless variety of groups living just a hairsbreadth away from each other.
We will visit the main sites sacred to the three major religions: the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, and overlook and possibly visit the Temple Mount. Optional additions to the tour: Mount Zion — site of the Last Supper, David’s Tomb and the Dormition Abbey; Mount of Olives with its variety of churches and more.
