About Me

I am Tamar Linchevsky, a certified tour guide, group facilitatorand tour guide instructor.

With over two decades of expertise on Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, I provide unique insights into cultures and religions, identity issues and spirituality, and enjoy weaving storytelling, poetry, and texts into my guiding work.

I work with business visitors, leaders, academics, educators, students, journalists, families and communities from all over the world; people of all religions and backgrounds; first-timers, repeat visitors, and people with special needs and challenges.  I have guided tours for VIP guests of some of the world’s leading companies and institutions (such as Google, IBM, Intel, the Weizmann Institute, Columbia University, etc.).

I am fascinated by the endless worlds existing in this country side by side.  I’m enchanted by the variety of unique landscapes, cityscapes and characters, its variety of people and cultures. constantly experiencing and discovering new secret places and hidden mysteries.  I love sharing them with my clients, who through touring are invited to become part of the unique fabric of Israel’s infinite world.

I am also involved in various educational touring projects in Israel and abroad with communities of all affiliations.

Personal Tour Planning

If you are seeking a unique, tailor-made experience, I’m happy to share my love, passion and knowledge of this land and create a customized tour to meet your individual desires and needs.

I offer a combination of classical, off the beaten track, and specially-themed tours as well as unique workshops and ceremonies for special events.  Touring with me usually includes a personal twist, interesting encounters, flavors, artists and most importantly, face-to-face, heart-to-heart dialogue with you — the visitor

Contact me and share your desires, needs and thoughts.  I look forward to speaking with you, allowing me to tailor for you a tour that is a bit different — your own unique and special tour.

Dialogical Tourism

Over the years, I developed a unique guiding approach called Guiding through Dialogue.  I teach the method to various tourist organizations and help integrate it into their systems.  I am also involved in developing touristic and educational content for different tourist sites and organizations in Israel (such as the City of David, the Hebrew University Botanical Gardens and more).
