The Mount of Olives invites us to experience beauty and holiness intertwined. The place from which the three major religions believe that the Messiah entered or will enter earthly Jerusalem attracts pilgrims of all affiliations visiting the main sites on its slopes and making it a vivid and unique place to tour.
We’ll walk following in the footsteps of Jesus, starting with a breathtaking view of the city from the top of the mountain. We will visit some of the main sites sacred to Christianity: Church of the Pater Noster, the Church of the Ascension, Dominus Flevit Church, and the Garden of Gethsemane and its accompanying Church of All Nations.
We may then continue in the footsteps of Christ into the Old City along the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) and into the main churches inside the Old City.

A Spiritual Journey on the Mount of Olives
A fascinating encounter with different spiritual traditions connected to the Mount of Olives, and its significance to the three major religions. We will visit the sites of different Christian groups who chose to settle on this holy mountain and enjoy an organ concert and a visit to the Mormon University, including a wonderful view of the Temple Mount. We’ll visit the place where Jesus ascended to heaven, which today serves as a mosque; meet with Catholic nuns leading a fascinating lifestyle; follow the path of the pilgrims from the top of the Mount of Olives by way of the Dominus Flevit Church to the Russian Orthodox Church with its surprising garden; and we will end in the ancient olive garden of Gethsemane.
The visits to most of these places are subject to the schedules of the local residents.
