A unique underground tour of the Old City visiting tunnels, water cisterns, caves and other secret places hidden from sight. A wonderful tour in the hot summer or cold winter, taking us into secret corners, through legends, dreams and aspirations of generations of builders and seekers in this city.
We may visit an ancient water cistern in the depths of a church, the Roman Cardo boulevard, the Herodian mansions rich in mosaics and ritual baths that hide beneath a modern-day yeshiva, part of a Roman road now in a convent’s basement, Zedekiah’s cave — a huge cave underneath the Old City, and many more surprises.
