Leaders Through the Ages ,between Spirit and Stones

Kings, queens, Caesars, and matriarchs have traversed this city and left their mark upon it.  King David, King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, Suleiman the Great, Queen Helena, Kaiser Wilhelm and many others will come back to life through stories, sites, and texts as we walk through the narrow streets of the Old City.  What brought them here?  Why and how did they choose to rule over this city?  What mark did they leave behind?  What influence did they have?  How did they change the city and how did the city change them?  What challenges did they face and how?

Stories of love and betrayal, life and death, spirituality and power come to life as relevant questions regarding the nature of leadership and power arise through the inspiring history of thousands of years of monarchies in this city.

A tour recommended for groups dealing with themes of leadership.

We will visit:  Jaffa Gate, the Ethiopian Chapel, the tombs of Crusader kings in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Old City marketplaces and the Via Dolorosa, plus rooftops and other surprises.
